Country Paws Policies
Country Paws, recognized as a premiere boarding facility, provides personal care and attention for dogs in both London and Kitchener. In order to keep all of our furry friends as well as our staff, happy, healthy and safe, we request that all vaccinations are up to date.
We require all guests be current on their DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations (Leptospirosis is not mandatory, but is recommended). Proof of vaccinations must be shown upon first visit and annual updates thereafter. The Bordetella vaccination can be administered using 3 different methods; Intranasal (3 day incubation), Oral (5 day incubation) and Injection (14 day incubation). Incubation periods must be followed prior to boarding at Country Paws. Please inquire with your veterinarian. A flea program is also recommended.
We understand that some things can not be avoided and sudden surprises arise. If you need to cancel your overnight boarding reservation, your Kennel stay or Daycare visit, please notify us with a minimum of 48 hour notice prior to your requested booking. Less than a 48 hour notification will result in a cancellation fee of a one night stay. If you have any questions in regards to this policy please feel free to call or visit us before your booking with Country Paws.
Our Boarding Agreement
I agree to pay for all boarding, grooming and other services provided to my dog(s) while in the care of Country Paws Boarding. My dog(s) are current on all their vaccinations; DHLPP, Rabies & Bordetella. If my dog has recently received the Bordetella vaccination, I have waited the full incubation period prior to boarding. However, just like children in a daycare dogs occasionally share minor illnesses. It is still possible for a pet to become ill through a communicable disease even if vaccinated. I agree that Country Paws is not liable for any illness suffered by my Dog during or after its stay, including Trachebronchitis (canine cough). Country Paws will make every effort to contact me and /or my emergency contact, but in the event of an emergency, I authorize Country Paws to provide any necessary care including medical attention, special care or administering medications and I will pay for any additional costs that may occur as a result. I agree to pay for excessive damage to the facility caused by my dog and I take full responsibility (including financial) for the consequences of any aggressive or injurious behaviours of my dog(s). If I abandon my dog(s) with Country Paws Boarding, I authorize Country Paws Boarding to take any action they deem appropriate. Check out time is 11:00am on departure day; for an additional charge my dog can “Stay ‘n Play” until end of business day. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance, including returning early, or fees may apply. We are not responsible for chewed or damaged bedding that accompanies your dog.
