Welcome to the Country Paws DogPlex Off-Leash Adventure Park — a space designed for dogs to run, explore, socialize and just be dogs!

Our Adventure Park is a shared, off-leash environment, which means every person and pup plays a role in keeping it safe and enjoyable. Whether you're visiting with a Day Pass or you're one of our members, please review the park rules before heading in.

Who Can Play?

The Adventure Park is designed for friendly, social dogs who are comfortable interacting with other dogs in an off-leash environment.

By bringing your dog into the park, you are confirming that you are confident your dog can safely participate in group play and does not have known dog-aggressive behaviours that could put another dog or guest at risk.

We know every dog has their quirks! If there is anything about your dog's behaviour, play style, sensitivities or preferences that would help us better understand them in an off-leash environment, please let our team know.

Spay & Neuter Requirements

Dogs under 6 months old may participate while unfixed.

Once a dog reaches 6 months of age, they must be spayed or neutered to continue using the Adventure Park. Membership access may be suspended or cancelled if a dog over six months remains unfixed.

Children & the Adventure Park

We love being a place the whole family can visit, but an active off-leash dog park isn't the safest environment for young children.

For everyone's safety:

• Children 10 years old and under are not permitted inside the off-leash Adventure Park.

• Guests ages 11–16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

• Guests 17 years and older may enter the Adventure Park independently.

Children are still welcome throughout the leashed areas of the DogPlex campus and inside the Barkery Café.

You'll also notice plenty of fun-looking equipment around the property! Please remember that our play structures, agility equipment and other park features are designed specifically for dog use only and should not be climbed on or used as children's playground equipment.

You Are Responsible for Your Dog

Owners and handlers must remain attentive to their dogs while using the park.

The Adventure Park is not a drop-off service. Your dog must remain under your supervision, and you should be prepared to intervene, redirect or leash your dog when necessary.

We ask everyone to be considerate of the different dogs sharing the park. Wrestling, chasing and energetic play can all be completely normal — but play should remain mutual and appropriate.

If your dog is becoming overwhelmed, overly excited or isn't respecting another dog's boundaries, give them a break!

Meet Our Dog Wranglers

Our Dog Wranglers are here to help keep the Adventure Park safe and enjoyable. Dogplex Wranglers are always wearing a RED SHIRT and are equipped with a red slip lead, feel free to chat or access them whenever you need!

By entering the Adventure Park, guests acknowledge that they are entering a patrolled off-leash environment and that Country Paws Dog Wranglers have the authority to intervene in dog interactions when necessary.

This may include touching, handling, redirecting, leashing or removing a dog from an interaction or from the Adventure Park if our team believes their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or negatively affecting other dogs or guests.

Our team may also ask a dog to take a break to de-escalate a situation or leave the park for the day.

These decisions aren't about labelling a dog as "good" or "bad." Even wonderful dogs can have an off day! Our priority is keeping the overall environment safe and positive.

Food, Toys & High-Value Items

Please be mindful about bringing food, treats, toys or other high-value items into shared off-leash spaces.

Even dogs who happily share at home can behave differently when surrounded by unfamiliar dogs. If an item is creating tension, guarding behaviour or unwanted attention, our team may ask that it be removed.

We also ask that if you wish to feed your own dog a treat or snack from our Cafe, that is a-okay but please do not feed other owners dogs or feed in close proximity to another owners dog that you/your dog has never met before. High value items and owner presence can increase the intensity level of a situation even if your dog have never directly shown signs of food aggression before!

To ensure the safety of everyone, please only feed your own pup in a suitable and safe area of the Adventure Park. 

💩 Scoop the Poop!

We have waste stations available throughout the property to make cleanup easy.

Please pick up after your dog whenever you see them go. With lots of acres to explore, our Wranglers can't spot every poop before a sneaker does. 😉

Gates, Leashes & Entering the Park

Dogs should remain leashed until they are safely inside the designated off-leash area.

Please pay attention when entering and exiting gates and never allow another person's dog to slip through with you.

Before opening a gate, give dogs gathered around the entrance a chance to move away. A calm entrance makes for a much better introduction!

When leaving the park, leash your dog before exiting the designated off-leash area.

Respect Other Dogs — and Their Hoomans

Not every dog plays the same way.

Some love wrestling. Some want to chase. Some would happily retrieve a ball for three straight hours. Others just want to sniff every blade of grass on the property.

Please don't force interactions between dogs and always respect another owner's request for space.

The same goes for people! Please ask before engaging with another owner's dog.

Health & Safety

Dogs visiting the Adventure Park should be healthy and free from contagious illness.

Please don't bring your dog to the park if they are experiencing symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, persistent coughing or another potentially contagious condition.

Dogs should also meet Country Paws' current vaccination and health requirements before participating. (Current Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper are required prior to entry).

If your dog becomes injured or unwell while visiting, please notify a team member.

⚠️ Off-Leash Play Comes With Inherent Risk

Dogs are animals, and even in a well-managed environment, their behaviour cannot be completely predicted.

Running, wrestling, chasing and playing with other dogs naturally carries some risk of bumps, scratches, injuries or disagreements.

By choosing to use the Adventure Park, owners acknowledge the inherent risks associated with off-leash dog interaction and remain responsible for their dog's behaviour and participation.

Our rules, trained Dog Wranglers and park procedures are designed to reduce those risks while still allowing dogs the freedom to play, explore and socialize.

The Country Paws Adventure Park is something a little different: a place where humans and dogs get to spend quality time together while enjoying the freedom of a large, professionally patrolled off-leash environment.

The rules aren't here to take the fun out of the park — they're what allow us to give dogs so much freedom in the first place.

Keep an eye on your pup. Respect other dogs. Listen to our Wranglers. Pick up the poop. And most importantly…
